The magnificent intelligent design of the human eye, for some, is evidence that there is indeed an intelligent being and designer who is responsible for all creation. This is a drawing of the layers of the human retina. The retina is a wonderful network, in which 130 - 160 million cells, that fall into 60 different cell classes, form processes more than 100 km in length, to make some 10,000,000,000 synaptic connections. This is also an example of how cells from different classes still work together to accomplish a greater collective "vision".
