INITIATION INTO ISLAMIC FAITH
When Kwabena Abebresse completed Middle school
he went to his father at Sewhi Dwenease, Nyame Nnae. His father lived
in a cottage called 'Ohia Pae'. The area was thick forested and Kwabena
had the premonition of being taken away by dwarfs, as he had heard
that dwarfs resided in thick forests. Persistent fear made him leave
the place for Kumasi.
Later on, in Kumasi, he was employed as a petrol seller at Shell (between
Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital roundabout and cultural centre). As
a mere petrol seller he was making money at a rate he himself could
not understand. For a short span of time he was able to buy four cars
(three Taxis and one Urvan bus). He gave three of the cars to some
drivers and drove one of the Taxis himself. After he closed from work
he would be driving the Taxi himself. All this while, his encounter
with dwarfs seemed to have ceased.
One day he had taken some passengers from Bantama to Kejetia roundabout
when the gates of his Taxi opened themselves. He himself could not
see that the gates had opened but the people.. >>
